The Sheikh & The Virgin ~ The Sheikh's Mistaken Bride #MySexySaturday

Welcome to this week's My Sexy Saturday! Today I'm sharing seven paragraphs from my sexy contemporary, The Sheikh's Mistaken Bride, which is the second novella in the box set Taken by the Sheikh.

He dipped his head and she loosened her grip on his shirt. His silky black hair brushed against her jaw as he trailed languid kisses along her throat. Even though he still cradled her head, she clutched his powerful biceps for support. His muscles were rock hard and the leashed power beneath her fingers caused her breast to constrict.

His breath was uneven as he gently nipped her sensitized flesh. The unexpected spark of pain intensified her pleasure and she shuddered in his arms. It was only when his hand slipped beneath her dress and caressed her stocking clad thigh that a sliver of sanity surfaced.

Gasping she pulled back as far as she could, considering his fingers were still tangled in her hair. His eyes were dark with passion and for a moment he looked nothing like the suave businessman she assumed he must be.

He looked wild and untamed, as though the charming philanderer was merely a flimsy façade for the real man.

Instead of shocking her back to her senses, the crazy thought heightened the lust thundering through her blood. She almost forgot what she needed to say.

“Andre.”

“Don’t tell me to stop.” His voice was deep and rich, like dark chocolate and smoky whiskey. His fingers inched higher and toyed with her lacy suspender. “I must have you tonight, Sanura.”

This scene comes just after the hero, Khalid (aka as Andre) has asked Sanura to marry him. He has some persuasive techniques :-)  

He pulled the lingerie down her thighs and discarded them, exposing her to his avid gaze. “Tell me you accept my proposal.”

It was a command, but how could she refuse when he worshipped her body with his lips and tongue?

“Yes.” It was a sigh of surrender. Andre loomed over her, like a god from ancient times. His dark hair fell over his face, giving him a wild, dangerous air, and she mindlessly hooked her legs around his thighs.

Triumph glittered in his eyes, but she didn’t care. It was what she wanted.

He captured her lips, his kiss a mark of possession. The head of his cock pressed against her, but he didn’t push inside.

Finally he broke the kiss. She gasped incoherently and plunged her fingers in his hair, but he was immovable. “You won’t regret it.” His voice was little more than a growl and sent shivers of need racing across her skin.

She groaned, and dug her heels into his taut ass. She didn’t want to talk anymore. She just wanted him to love her, the way he had loved her throughout the previous night. With a feral grin Andre thrust into her, his thick length filling her completely. She bucked mindlessly, taking everything he gave her.

Welcome to this week's My Sexy Saturday! I'm back after a bit of a break, and today I'm going to share 7 sentences of my deliciously sexy contemporary romance, The Sheikh's Mistaken Bride. This is the second of three books in an upcoming boxed set Taken by the Sheikh with fabulous fellow Aussie authors Mel Teshco and Cathleen Ross.

The book is due to be released in December when we'll also be sharing the seriously gorgeous cover! But for now here's a taste of my hero, Khalid, when he first meets his heroine Sanura. Khalid is under the mistaken impression he has just met his betrothed. Bound by duty to honor his father's wishes and secure a powerful alliance for his country, Khalid nevertheless hasn't been looking forward to meeting his future bride. That is until Sanura opens the door...

The startled expression on her face was oddly endearing. “It’s an honor to make your acquaintance, Sanura.”

She didn’t attempt to pull her hand away, and he idly caressed his thumb across her fingers. For such a chaste touch he found it remarkably arousing.

Thank God he would have no reluctance in sharing the matrimonial bed with her. The prospect of siring sons to continue his father’s dynasty no longer loomed like a thundercloud on the horizon.

It would be a pleasure.
