The Perfect Hero
Today I'm over at the Dark Side DownUnder blog where I'm talking about heroes - specifically, what makes a hero perfect for you? Or just pop on over and leave a comment or ask a question! There's a copy of either Forbidden or Captive up for grabs and I'll draw a winner next Wednesday!
And don't forget to leave a comment on Michelle's post to be in with a chance of winning a copy of The Perfect Concubine!

Updates
It's been a busy week writing wise. I started a new book which I'm very excited about and wrote a synopsis for another one (I don't love writing synopses, they're a form of torture!) I also joined the Romance Writers of America and entered the RITAs with Forbidden. I've only ever entered a couple of writing contests before, since I tend to get a bit stressed out with all the formatting rules and what not, but since all I had to to do for this one was fill in the form, pay the fee and have the books sent, I thought I could manage that!!
I've also started organising my blog tour for Captive in February and have some totally awesome stops lined up.
And don't forget to check out the Dark Side Downunder blog! So much juicy goodness going on over there. I'll be hosting the blog on 25th November where I'll be chatting about the goddesses in the world of the Forbidden series.

Happy Halloween!!

I can't believe the last time I posted was on Monday!!! In my defense I have had a totally insane week (in the best possible way!) More on that later!!!
But today it's not only Halloween, but the launch of the Dark Side Dowunder blog! Since my Monday shout out lots more amazing authors have joined the launch party, giving away some more fabulous books. To check out the line-up, hop on over and have a look. And don't forget to leave a comment to be in the running to win a copy of Storm Glass by Maria V. Snyder and a small jigsaw puzzle of a space scene ~or~ a copy of Kelley Armstrong's Haunted. I have Storm Glass on my tbr pile and can't wait to dive in!
For all the latest news on what I'm up to, don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter - it's an announcement only group so your inbox won't be flooded!
See you on the Dark Side!

DarkSide DownUnder

Lots more excitement coming up! The RWA Paranormal Group I belong to has recently set up a blog to promote Aussie and New Zealand authors, who write paranormal and fantasy romance, UF and spec fic with romantic elements. When I say *we* have set up the blog, what I really mean is Eleni Konstantine, who has spent I don't know how many hours making the site beautiful and arranging for a most fantastic launch!
As the only date to launch a Dark Side Down Under blog is Halloween - that's what we're doing! Then during the months of November, December and January there are fab giveaways every Thursday from the following awesome authors:
Keri Arthur - NYT bestselling author of the Riley Jenson series
Mel Teshco - Ellora's Cave and Nocturne Bites
Maree Anderson - Red Sage
Nicole Murphy - Harper Collins
Erica Hayes - The Shadowfae Chronicles
Shona Husk - Samhain Publishing
Denise Rossetti - Berkley
I'll be blogging over there on 25th November, with a giveaway of either a copy of Forbidden or, if the winner doesn't mind waiting a few weeks, an early copy of Captive.
So if you enjoy a slice of the dark side with your romance, be sure to check out our new blog!
