Pages, Chocolate and Links

And whoops! There goes another week!

Because I slacked off badly the week after the last challenge, I went and signed up for a new one on Monday. This is run by the same ladies who organised the 50k in 30 Days Challenge and my personal goal is to write four new pages each day. Very doable. So long as I, you know, actually do it! And I need to if I want to get this book finished before the New Zealand conference - I fly five weeks today! Squee!!!

And now for some randomness. Shelley had the most fantastico ad on her blog the other day. It was advertising chocolate (I remember that only because it was chocolate!!) but really it didn't matter in the least what it was trying to sell, since the ad itself is priceless. Doesn't hurt that the music is classic Phil Collins either!!! I keep hopping over to watch it here.

And also Patwitch has finally succumbed to the Dark Side and taken up blogging!

I really should join this challenge too... my writing has been very sporadic of late! Right... off to check the chocolate thing!

Hope you enjoyed that ad, Rach! I love that gorilla!!!

Sara and Amanda, I'm so looking forward to the conference and all the celebrating!!! Can't believe almost a whole year has gone by already!

Debs, thank you - I will have a wonderful time although unfortunately I won't get time to actually see any of NZ itself outside of the taxi ride to the hotel!!

Four new pages a day is very doable for you, Christina. Especially if you take a leaf out of a certain witch's spell book and use a large font.

Haha Pat! Too funny!

Good luck with the challenge, Christina :)
Thanks also for the blog plug. I love that ad and stop to watch it every time it plays on TV.

I have a guest blogger on Wednesday 16 (Thursday our time) talking about promo and answering questions. She's also offering a giveaway of promo ideas. I figure you might be interested since you'll have to do this stuff soon :) She has loads of ideas for both e-pub and print formats.

Thanks for the good luck, Eleni. No matter how much I write on this one I never seem to make much progress!!

Ooh Shelley, thanks for the heads up on your guest next week. I will definitely be there!!
