Autumn to me is October and November, russet leaves, a chilly wind and red noses. But when my family and I moved to Australia several years ago, we had to get used to suddenly having all the seasons upside down.
September is the start of spring down here, and even after fourteen years I just can't get used to it! It feels so wrong when it gets to October and November and the weather is heating up, the sun is shining and the roses are blooming. My internal clock insists that the nearer we get to Christmas I should be piling on the layers whenever I set foot outside the door, or turning up the central heating and curling up on the sofa with a fabulous romance.
Well, although I now have to peel off the layers and turn on the air conditioning, one thing hasn't changed. I still love curling up on the sofa with a fabulous romance :-)
There's only three and a half weeks until the release of Archangel of Mercy, written under my pen name of Christina Ashcroft, and I'm getting pretty excited! This is the first book in a new series of fallen Archangels and the women who capture their hearts, coming on 4th December from Berkley Heat.
Over 18s Only Please!
Destined to fall... destined to love...
When Aurora Robinson
attempts to open a rift between dimensions to embrace her true heritage,
an arrogant Archangel is the only one who can save her from the jaws of
hell. And while she owes Gabriel her life, she’s determined not to fall
at his feet-despite the desire she feels whenever they’re together.
After his wings were
brutally destroyed millennia ago, Gabriel has no compassion for humans
like those who ruined him and betrayed the ones he loved. But when he
inexplicably finds himself defying ancient protocols to rescue a woman
from a fate worse than death, he is shocked by the searing attraction he
feels for a mortal.
As the ancient forces that
seek to punish Aurora for her actions close in, Gabriel offers the
tempting woman protection at his private sanctuary. But as they both
succumb to their desires, they discover an even deeper connection-one
that threatens to consume them.

It’s hard to say what exactly would be my Go-To Autumn Romance book. When I think real hard about it, I would have to say it has a sexy, strong, determined male that when it comes to love is just lost. Then there has to be a woman who is usually in need of help or needs to know what love and family is. Together they heal each other and love turns out to be their greatest gift. I also love a happy ending at this time of year, usually where the epilogue has them starting their own family to love and cherish. Oh….and definitely HOT loving too!

Autumn is my favorite season! I like all the beautiful colors outside and the weather is not that hot anymore but not freezing cold either. It's just perfect! Thank you for the giveaway!

Last year but didn't mind so much that we didn't have a bad winter and it was warmer than normal. Now if it happened in the summer I might not like it so much.
vampiremistress2010(at)gmail(dot)com
I am not sure but last winter we had alot less snow and it didn't get as cold as usual. It was nice and I would love for it to happen this year but I am afraid that it won't happen this year .
Thanks for the Giveaway.

Another thing I miss is snow! I never thought I would say that :-) But there is something so magical about looking out of the window and seeing the world covered in a gorgeous covering of untouched snow!
I have never experienced upside down seasons. It would take a lot to get used to!

I haven't experienced an upside down season. I did grow up part of the time in a tropical country where I only worried about whether it was sunny or raining. Then I moved where there's 4 distinct seasons and I still don't like winter.

Love the cooler weather.

No upside down seasons for me. I think it would be an interesting experience, but I'd get tired of it. It's just not fall without cool breezes and colorful leaves!

Upside down weather as in snow in lower PA on Halloween... Mother Nature gave us a treat (strange cause snow doesn't occur until late Nov)
Happy Holidays

Sorry, never remember the e-address...although I am a little confused by the time stamp since it is 2:23 in the afternoon where I am!
My poor plants are a bit confused...but I did get an extra bloom out of my roses this year since the weather stayed warm much longer than usual. I don't usually deal with upside down seasons except when I am chatting online with other people who are across the globe from me!

Oh, I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I kind only got one season here. Maybe two: hot or really hot. lol
Did I mention with lots of humidity?
But an upside down season would be when it rains too much unexpected and disasters happen.
Thanks for the giveaway, I really liked your book covers. :)

I love autumn with all the brilliant colors: oranges, yellows and reds of leaves. I love crisp, cool mornings where the sky is so blue it looks endless and the air is so fresh in your lungs. I love snuggling up in a warm throw on a cold autumn day with a good book. Of course, I love snuggling up with a good book about anytime of the year. I love Thanksgiving because it is a time to remember all the many blessings in my life and express thanks. I love baking spicy pumpkin pies with dollops of cream.
I like stories of the unexpected. I also love the steamy passion but I hate mentioning favorite authors because the list is long. I appreciate the many styles authors use to weave stories of mystery, love, intrigue, preternatural and inspiration. I love reading because I can go anywhere, any time in my mind and imagine indescribable things.
Thank you for this contest and the opportunity to be introduced to new authors.

I? haven't experienced any, however one year in Colo we had snow for Easter and it was sunny on Christmas.I didn;\;t like it. I want fires burning around Christmas and for it to seem new and warm at Easter.
peach_hugs@yahoo.com
Yes. Love the covers! lisarayns at gmail dot com
We get upside down seasons often here in the midwest. One year will be 60 at Christmas, the next could be ice and snow. Definitely makes for a great time.
