Yesterday I received the page proofs for Captive, which was a bit of a shock since it seems like only a couple of months ago I went through the page proofs for Forbidden! Hopefully this cold from hell will go away so I can concentrate properly next week (why do I always come down with a rotten cold as soon as the weather turns lovely and warm?)
I can hardly believe it, but there's only three and a half months until Captive hits the shelves! So I thought I should put the first chapter up on my website. If you'd like to have a read, it's here under Excerpt. I have a serious crush on the hero, Bren. Hope you enjoy!

I'm still in awe of your wonderful covers - FORBIDDEN & CAPTIVE. I was reading FORBIDDEN in a couple of public places and got a couple of comments both times on how striking the cover was - so, I took the opportunity to plug your book and let them know where to buy it! LOL

You're so right -- it seems like publishing is such a "hurry up and wait" business, and then all of a sudden things happen really quickly! Really looking forward to Captive!
There certainly is lots of hurry up and wait. I don't know about you but sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing because my head's in a spin. I'm saving your book until Christmas when I have plenty of time to enjoy!
