RWNZ Conference 2008 Part Two

I though I'd post a few more photos from the conference. Here are three of the witches, Amanda, me and Sara, in our Saturday night finery.

One of the tea breaks where I consumed far too many yummy scones and cream than was good for me.

Amanda chatting to Jenny Hatton, assistant editor at Mills and Boon.

Here I am up on stage collecting my certificate for the Meet the Editor contest. From l-r Pam, Bron, Toni, Cindy Hwang (senior editor at Berkley) me and Anne Gracie, Prez of the RWAustralia who collected certificates for Aussie finalists could couldn't attend, and MC-ing was Tessa Radley. Ellie can just be seen standing off stage.

Cindy's feedback on my entry was priceless, and gave me a lot to think about!

Anyway back to reality! I've sent my revisions off to the witches for their input. I've also joined the Clayton's Conference for those not attending the Melbourne conf this weekend, run by the dynamic duo Sandie and RC. I don't know where they get their energy from but I wouldn't mind some of it!!!

I have a weakness for scones and cream - I would have eaten more than you, I'm sure of it.

Getting your certificate must have been a special moment. I'd love to know what sort of feedback you got from Cindy (maybe away from the blog) and hope you enjoyed the Clayton's conference!

The food was delicious and there was so much of it. Plus the most enormous chocolate cake to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the RWNZ!

Suzy I've dropped you an email!

Helen and Kaye, it was a fantastic weekend! Just hope finances stretch so I can go to next year's conference (and also hoping I can make the NYC one too!!!)

Hi Christina,
I'm positive I posted on here but can't see it. lol

Yes, I had a great time at our RWAustralia Conference, including the yummy scones, jam and cream.

It was well worth every cent and all my effort. lol.. I was so bombed out by the end, and even now I think I'm still getting over it.

It was great to meet so many people with like minds.

Love your photographs btw. Most of the ones I took were horrid. I am waiting for some to come via email, although my camera went dead at the cocktail party. But hopefully someone will have a photo of me and friends in costumes... lol

Suz:)
