Well I spent most of Friday and the weekend sorting out the tangles my CPs found and now my angel is with my agent. I need to get back into the ancient Roman mindset and I'm very excited about the second book except I have a fear of starting it! That dreaded blank page is sitting there mocking me. Plus I don't have a title, so it looks like it's going to be Druid II until I can figure out something a lot more enticing!!
I've no idea where the last week's got to and I swear Sunday bypassed me entirely. The fabulous Eleni-Fest is still going strong, with lots of amazing prizes up for grabs, so if you get a moment pop over and join in the fun!

Hope your agent loves the new book! As for the second book, just take a breath and start typing...it'll be great like the rest of your work!
I love coming up with titles... Anytime you want to brainstorm, let me know.
All the best with the new novel... and I'm sure that mind of yours will be madly typing away soon.
Titles, it will come as they always do don't they? :)
Suz :)
Sometimes pressure is scary! I like Emma's advice about taking a breath and starting to type. You have great CPs and it's easy to fix a page. Just start. :)
Apologies for being so late with the congratulations, but I've just read on Pat Posner's blog that you have a 2 book deal.
Many congratulations.
Yay with angel being at agent. I'm sure the dreaded blank plage will not be there for long. Just type Druid II at top ;)) see no longer blank!
And thanks for plugging Eleni-fest again. Hope you are enjoying it.
Emma! how lovely to see you again! How are you and your gorgeous little guy doing? And thank you for that lovely confidence boost!
Catherine I may well take you up on that. Occasionally a title will come to me and it's completely perfect but other times it's like driving a rusty nail through the brain!
Suz, thanks - if I can just clarify in my own mind exactly WHAT the hero is doing in the opening scene, I'll be fine. I think. At least, I hope!!
Shelley, it sure is. I know once I get started I'll be fine, but this *blinking* research it's a black hole, sucking me in and under!!
Debs thank you so much for your congrats! I'm still a bit freaked out by it!!
Hahah, I like the way your mind works, Eleni! Yes, I'll do that first thing in the morning!!!
Thanks, Christina! I've crept out of early motherhood fog and am working on getting back in the swing of things. I've managed to keep my inbox clear for two whole days now and write two blogs...woohoo!
I suffer badly from blank page phobia. I get it worst at the start of the book and then at the start of every single chapter as well. I recognise the symptoms now; spending time with my children, having conversations with my husband, cooking, cleaning... Good luck with it :)
Cait
The blank page won't be there for long, Christina! You are on a roll now. You'll find the title as the story unfolds too I'm sure. Good luck with the writing.
I can't come up with titles to save my life lately, and they used to be easy for me! Good luck with yours and starting book #2. :)
Emma, you're amazing. It took me two years to crawl out of that fog!
Cait, I suffer badly from procrastination and know I'm in a really bad way if I find myself doing *ironing* as a distraction from the computer!!
Kaye and Cari thank you for the good luck, now if I can just stop researching bridles and reins and get down to actual writing!!
