Local hero, Sam Worthington (yes!!! He really is local to us so of course we are claiming him as our very own!!!) as Perseus. I haven't seen the new version of Clash of the Titans yet but remember the old one with much nostalgia! Anyway, I just thought I would share this pic because he's in definite warrior mode :-)
Now to explain a little bit about the launch party next week. I've asked some amazing author friends to join me to help celebrate the release of Forbidden, and not only are they popping over but they come bearing fabulous gifts!!!
Here's how it's going to work. Every day during the first week of September up to the 6th (which is the day before release day!!!) I'll be hosting two or three guest bloggers. To be in with a chance to win a giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment at the bottom of that post. Or even better, leave a comment at the bottom of every blog post!!! I'll leave each post up for two days before I draw a winner (using a random number generator).
So what's the theme of this party? Well, it's about all things forbidden, ancient cultures, hot Romans and mystical druids!
Tomorrow I'll have details of a fun contest to help spread the word for the blog party (and Forbidden!!!)
And I leave you with Harry Hamlin, who played Perseus in the original Clash of the Titans. Which Perseus would you choose?

There's no comparison - Sam Worthington has my vote (complete with drool) *lol*.
I'm looking forward to helping you celebrate, my friend!
Hmm...they're both exceptional, but I'm just wild about Harry :).
This is so exciting, Christina. I can't wait.
I adored the original Clash of the Titans, clunky special effects and all. Although I have to agree with Kylie, Sam's definitely the man.
Sigh. I wish Bookdepository would hurry up with my copy of Forbidden. I want to read it NOW!
My vote is for Harry. Young and long haired. What's not to like?
The gorgon, though, is a bit too glamorous for my tastes.
Sorry, Harry has my heart. Only because I'm old enough that I have a soft spot for that movie...and the mechanical owl :-)
For me, Sam is Blue N'Aavi :)
OK I'm going to sit on the fence here and say both Sam and Harry are hot in their own different ways :-)
Hahaha, Nicky, who could forget that mechanical owl!
I think Sam Worthington would whoop Harry's butt, but still I have a soft spot for the original Clash of the Titans. Haven't seen the new one yet. So both....I'm not greedy :)
